This duck call is very easy to use – even for the inexperienced hunter.
The call does not have a built-in “ball”, so you need to produce a whirring sound with your tongue or the “fluttering” sound of a pintail.
If you place your finger over the hole you can produce a lower tone with the sound Troot, troot, troot 2-3 times.
This duck call can be used to attract both teals, widgeons and pintails with the large variation of the call sounds.
Wigeon:
Cover the hole on the call with your finger and remove it again while producing a woo-WEEEEE-wooooo tone.
Pintail:
Generated the sound zoooot while blowing harder into the call at the end to tone up.
Teal:
Cover the hole on the call with your finger while you generate the tone pace, pace, pace.
The gall is hand-tuned and tested in order to produce the proper sound.
