Accessories for Viper-Flex shooting stick Styx Elite
This extra leg fits your Viper-Flex model Styx Elite and helps you to a more accurate shot.
When the supporting leg is mounted, but not folded out, the shooting stick can still be used as a 1-legged, 2-legged or 4-legged shooting stick
When the supporting leg is mounted, the shooting stick can stand alone or be used as a 3 or 5-legged shooting stick.
If you are a right-handed shooter, mount the support leg on the front left leg of the shooting stick.
If you are a left-handed shooter, the support leg is mounted on the front right leg of the shooting stick.
The instructions below are for right-handed shooting, so you need to mirror the instructions if you are left-handed.
Weight 275 gram.
Instructions:
- Unfold the shooting stick and click the lower clamp of the supporting leg free of the shooting stick with the front hand. Place the support leg so far forward on the ground that the rifle points low when placed on the shooting stick.
- Move the leg backwards with the front hand while pulling the rifle towards you with the back hand. This tilts the rifle up to the desired line of sight.
- Find a stable place to place the supporting leg on the ground. Grasp with the front hand around the front of the rifle and the shooting sticks wide top piece at the same time. If done correctly, the back of the hand faces upwards and the thumb rests on the top piece and supports the right side of the forearm.
- With the left hand, gently push forward so that the supporting leg makes proper contact with the shooting stick while aligning the sight sideways with the front hand. You can now fire a very accurate shot.
NOTE. Do not use the supporting leg backwards on the rear leg of the slider. The stability will be the same, but the rifle’s recoil can do damage to both the shooting stick and the support legs.
The supporting leg also fits the Dangate shooting stick item number SS-120.
